2. GENERAL LIMITATION

2.1 Medical Consultation
As with any lifestyle change program where changes are made to nutrition and physical activity, it is important to consult with your qualified health care professional to ensure that you are mindful of your current health and any restrictions that are appropriate for you.

2.2 Disclaimer
The information contained on the Hormone Empowerment (referred to as “HE”, “Hormone Empowerment” “us”, “we” or “ours”) Website is not intended to provide medical advice or to be used to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition (including any mental health conditions). If you have any specific questions about any medical matter you should consult your doctor or other professional healthcare provider. You may book a naturopathic consultation separately.

If you believe you may be suffering from any medical condition you should immediately seek medical attention. You should never delay seeking medical advice, disregard medical advice or discontinue medical treatment because of information on our Website.

You recognise that Sarah Brenchley is a qualified naturopath and a registered member of the Naturopaths & Medical Herbalists of New Zealand (NMHNZ) professional association and understand that whilst naturopathy is a safe form of medicine, by changing lifestyle and dietary habits sometimes pre-existing symptoms can be aggravated, new symptoms may appear. Furthermore, whilst herbs and nutritional supplements are also considered safe, rare, allergic reactions can occur including headaches, hives or gastric upset. You understand that as yet interactions between herbs, nutrients and medications are not always fully defined but some are known to have serious interactions and effect the efficacy of the medication. Some methods of treatment are not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.  You understand that a naturopath is not a medical doctor and that naturopathy is not a regulated profession. Sarah does not make any medical diagnoses, nor makes any claim to ‘cure’ specific diseases.  No attempt will be made to interfere with, or recommend changes to medical treatment prescribed by a medical doctor.

You also recognise that Andrea Riggans is a qualified personal trainer and understand that physical activity is part of the programme and you will be expected to participate in the exercise given.  You take full responsibility for my body and working out safely and within my limits.

You understand and accept that results are not guaranteed and that you take personal responsibility for your health and wellbeing and absolve Sarah and Andrea from any adverse reaction or consequence arising from non-disclosure of any medication, medical condition(s) or injuries and/or not complying with any possible referrals or recommendations.
